Quality
We, at Tongani Tea Estate have adopted a stringent quality control
policy. Right from the nursery to the final despatch section, the
respective personnel minutely monitor each step of every process,
paying great attention to even the smallest of things. From seeds
to manures, plucking baskets to packaging materials, every member
of the Tongani family upholds the belief that "good quality
is the best policy".
After each manufacturing cycle is complete and before the teas
are despatched, all the teas go through the age-old tea tasting
process at two different places - the tea estate by the estate manager
himself and at the head office by the senior management. The teas
are dispatched only after their tasting reports from both the places
are received and the management is satisfied with the quality of
the teas.
The long-term goal of our company is to incessantly improve upon
the quality of our products through an active partnership with our
customers, suppliers and employees. The company has a quality management
system that is continuously evaluated and upgraded to maximize efficiencies.
